Throw out your keyboard and HD LCD monitor! Industry experts claimed the keyboard and desktop computer would be dead within a few years. But in a daring move, Adobe has announced it’s bypassing the tablet and desktop market to exclusively offer the Adobe Creative Suite on iPhones and mobile devices.
For the pixel OCD types out their (like me!) having a powerful suite of creative tools on these über small handheld devices surely promises much more control over precisely placed elements, pixel alignment, and color management. Think of it! Now we can swipe and pinch away our day designing complex websites, exhaustive multi-page catalogs, and performing dazzling acrobatic feats of Photoshop wizardry on our pocket-sizes screens. I thought this day couldn’t come fast enough.
Additionally, this revolutionary move to enable handheld creative prowess is said to greatly improve the designer’s eyesight and vision strain. Adobe is pushing for smaller mobile screens in the coming years for greater productivity.
Oh, did I forget to mention that the mobile creative suite will only be available for download from Adobe on 4/1/2015?
